We accomplish this by ensuring that training is a priority. Our employees undergo rigorous food safety and worker safety training, and we have been rewarded annually for our efforts by the American Meat Institute’s Safety Council Recognition Awards Program.
Our own comprehensive Safety Excellence Program includes 29 Hormel Foods plants and includes an evaluation of each facility based on pre-established safety goals.

It is also a priority to educate our consumers on safe food preparation. Hormel.com includes information on the best ways to properly cook and prepare various food items. This ensures that the safe products we produce remain safe when you bring them home and serve them to your family.
