Ingredients
| 6 | HORMEL® BLACK LABEL® Maple Black Pepper Bacon, cut into ½-inch pieces |
| 4 | cloves garlic, minced |
| ½ | cup chili sauce |
| ¾ | cup tomato sauce |
| ½ | fluid ounce maple syrup |
| 2 | tablespoons lite soy sauce |
| 1 | tablespoon apple cider vinegar |
| 1 | tablespoon brown sugar |
| 2 | pounds chicken wings pieces |
| 1½ | teaspoons kosher salt |
| 1 | teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
| Vegetable oil for frying |
Directions
Heat saucepan over medium heat and cook bacon until nearly crisp. Add garlic and cook 1 minute.
Whisk in chili sauce and next 5 ingredients. Reduce heat to low and simmer 2 minutes or until slightly thickened.
Rinse chicken wings and pat dry. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
In Dutch oven or deep fryer, heat oil to 350°F. Fry chicken wings in small batches until golden brown, 8 to 10 minutes. Place on paper towels to drain.
In large bowl, toss wing pieces with bacon mixture.
