CONVENIENCE BACON

With HORMEL® BLACK LABEL® convenience bacon, great tasting bacon doesn’t get easier.


New no touch, no cleanup bacon

1 Peel film.
2 Remove tray from package.
3 Cook for approximately 20 minute or to desired crispness.
4 Allow tray with bacon grease to cool for 5-10 minutes before discarding into trash.

HOW TO PREP

Conventional Oven for OVEN READY™ Bacon
  1. Peel film.
  2. Remove tray from package.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F
  4. Place the tray in the center of the middle rack.
  5. Cook for approximately 20 minute or to desired crispness.
  6. Using two hands, with oven mitts, CAREFULLY remove tray from oven. CAUTION! Tray will contain HOT bacon grease. KEEP COOKING TRAY LEVEL as you remove from oven.
  7. Let bacon stand on tray for 2 minutes. Remove bacon from tray, drain well, serve and enjoy!
  8. Allow tray with bacon grease to cool for 5-10 minutes before discarding into trash.

*Ovens will vary. Cooking times are approximate and may need to be adjusted based on previous cooking experiences with your appliances.

Air Fryer for Fully Cooked Bacon
  1. Place bacon slices in cold air fryer basket.
  2. Heat for 2 minutes at 350°F.
  3. Let bacon stand for 2 minutes.
  4. Appliances vary. Heating times given are approximate.

Oven for Fully Cooked Bacon
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Place bacon on baking pan.
  3. Heat for 4 minutes.

Microwave for Fully Cooked Bacon
  1. Remove from package and place desired number of slices in a single layer on a microwave-safe plate or paper towel (double thickness).
  2. Heat on high until warm and to desired crispness.
    1. 2 slices – 10 seconds.
    2. 4 slices – 15 seconds.

Stovetop for Fully Cooked Bacon
  1. Heat bacon for 1½ minutes on each side.

Microwave Ready Bacon
  1. Place unopened 4-slice bacon packet in microwave.
  2. Microwave on high (100% power)
    1. If Thawed: 2 to 2-1/2 minutes or until crisp.
    2. If Frozen: 3 to 3-1/2 minutes or until crisp.
    3. During cooking, the packet will balloon in order to self-vent.

Cooking Tips: Rotate packet if you experience uneven cooking.

Note: All microwaves will vary. Cooking times are based on microwaves with 850 watts of cooking power and equipped with a turntable. Allow more or less cooking time based on your microwave’s wattage and past cooking experiences.
