Ingredients

1 (16-ounce) package ziti pasta
¼ cup plus 2 tablespoons butter
½ cup Panko breadcrumbs
¼ cup flour
2 cups whole milk
2 cups shredded extra sharp white cheddar cheese
¼ cup shredded parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
3 cups cubed HORMEL® CURE 81® Boneless Ham
1 (10-ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
2 tablespoons chopped Italian parsley

Directions

  1. Prepare ziti according to package directions, reserving ½ cup cooking water.

  2. In small skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons butter. Add breadcrumbs. Cook 2 to 3 minutes, stirring, until breadcrumbs are toasted and golden brown. Set aside.

  3. In large saucepan over medium-high heat, melt ¼ cup butter. Whisk in flour until smooth. Add milk. Bring to boil. Cook 2 minutes, stirring until thickened. Reduce heat to low. Stir in cheeses, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Stir in ziti, ham, spinach and reserved pasta water to loosen.

  4. Top individual servings with breadcrumb mixture and parsley.
