Enjoy a homemade twist on a classic favorite with these Easy Pepperoni Calzones. Perfect for a quick meal, these calzones are filled with gooey mozzarella, tangy marinara sauce, and savory pepperoni, all wrapped in a golden, crispy pizza dough.

1 | pound pizza dough, divided into 2 balls; at room temperature |
⅓ | cup marinara sauce, plus more for serving |
4 | ounces shredded mozzarella, divided |
12 | slices HORMEL® NATURAL CHOICE® Uncured Sandwich Pepperoni |
1 | tablespoon olive oil |
½ | teaspoon Italian seasoning |
Directions
Heat oven to 450°F.
On floured work surface, roll out one dough ball to 10-inch circle. Top one side of dough circle with half each of sauce, cheese and pepperoni. Fold dough over filling; crimp edges to seal. Repeat with remaining ingredients to create 2 calzones. Transfer to baking sheet.
Brush tops with olive oil. Sprinkle each with Italian seasoning. Bake 20 to 30 minutes, or until deep golden brown. Serve with additional marinara sauce.
