Ingredients

 
2 tablespoons butter
1 medium onion, diced
½ teaspoon salt
teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon thyme
4 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
12 ounces rotini pasta (4 cups)
2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
1 (8-ounce) package NATURAL CHOICE® Oven Roasted Turkey, coarsely chopped
2 ounces cream cheese
Chopped parsley, if desired

Directions

  1. In a 4-quart saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions, salt, pepper and thyme. Sauté 3 to 5 minutes, or until onions are softened.

  2. Stir in broth, cream and pasta. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer 12 to 14 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in vegetables and turkey, cook 2 to 3 minutes or until pasta is tender and sauce is thickened. Stir in cream cheese until melted. Garnish with parsley, if desired.
