Cast-Iron Skillet Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of pizza dough
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Desired sauce, HORMEL® pepperoni product and toppings

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 475°F. Place a 12-inch cast-iron skillet in the oven for 10 minutes to preheat it.
  2. Meanwhile, roll or stretch dough into a 14-inch circle. Carefully remove skillet from oven. Drizzle two thirds of the olive oil into skillet, then carefully transfer dough to skillet, pressing dough up edges of pan.
  3. Add desired sauce, HORMEL® pepperoni product and toppings. Brush dough edges with remaining olive oil. Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Transfer to cutting board. Cut into slices and serve.
