GRILLED PORK PITA SKEWERS
 
INGREDIENTS
  • 1 (1 ¼-pound) package HORMEL® Foods ALWAYS TENDER® pork tenderloin, cubed
  • ¼ cup HOUSE OF TSANG® General Tso sauce
  • 2 teaspoons HOUSE OF TSANG® stir-fry oil
  • 4 pita bread
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons HOUSE OF TSANG® Sweet Chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint
  • 1 teaspoon HOUSE OF TSANG® sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 small cucumbers, sliced
  • ¼ cup sliced red onion
DIRECTIONS
  1. Prepare grill for medium-high heat. Grease grill. In medium bowl, combine pork and sauce; stir to combine. Thread pork onto 4 metal skewers. Grill 8 to 10 minutes or until pork is cooked to your liking, turning occasionally; keep warm.
  2. Brush oil on both sides of each pita bread. Grill 2 minutes each side of until grill marks appear. In small bowl, combine mayonnaise and sweet chili sauce; set aside. In small bowl, combine vinegar, mint, sesame oil, sugar, cucumbers and onion. Toss to combine.
  3. Place pita breads on boards or plates. Spread half mayonnaise mixture on pita bread. Place pork skewer on bread. Spoon cucumber salad over top. Spoon remaining mayonnaise mixture over salad and pork.
BACON WRAPPED ASPARAGUS
 
INGREDIENTS
  • 1 bunch asparagus
  • 4 strips of NATURAL CHOICE® Bacon cut in half
  • 1 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
  • Kosher salt to taste
  • Cracked black pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
  1. Prepare your grill to cook at medium high heat (around 400-450 degrees F). Rinse the asparagus and pat dry.
  2. Lay flat on a cutting board and trim the ends by bending the bottom of the asparagus until it naturally snaps. This will ensure you don't have any woody pieces in your bundles. If you prefer to trip with a knife, trim at least an inch and a half up the stem.
  3. Drizzle the asparagus with the olive oil and season to taste with the salt and pepper. Gently roll around the cutting board to ensure all of the asparagus has been seasoned.
  4. Gather the asparagus into bundles of 6-8 shoots and wrap with a half piece of the bacon. Try gently tucking the end of the bacon into itself at the end to secure. Toothpicks are also an option to secure the bacon, but be sure to remove them before serving.
  5. Place the bundles directly on the grill grate and cook for 4-5 minutes per side or until the asparagus is tender and the bacon is crisp. Serve immediately.
BACON CHILI CHEESE DOGS
 
INGREDIENTS
  • 8 hot dogs
  • 8 hot dog buns, toasted or warmed
  • 8 slices HORMEL® Foods BLACK LABEL® Bacon
  • 1 (15 ounce) can HORMEL® Foods Chili
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup chopped pickled jalepeño
  • ½ small red onion, thinly sliced
  • ¾ cup HORMEL® Foods Real Bacon Pieces
DIRECTIONS
  1. Heat grill to medium heat.
  2. Wrap 1 bacon slice around each hot dog, securing with wooden picks, if desired.
  3. Grill hot dogs 3 to 5 minutes on each side or until bacon is cooked through and crisp.
  4. Meanwhile, heat chili according to package directions.
BARBEQUE RIBS
 
INGREDIENTS
  • LLOYD’S® Seasoned & Smoked Babyback Ribs in Original BBQ Sauce
DIRECTIONS
  1. Heat charcoal or gas grill. Cut 2 large sheets of heavy-duty* foil twice the length of the ribs, and place on top of each other. Spray top sheet of foil with cooking spray.
  2. Remove ribs from package and place on center of foil. Spread sauce over ribs, or save for later. Pull foil around ribs, leaving a 1-inch gap in center.
  3. Place on grilling rack at the coolest portion of the grill. Cover grill and heat 15 to 20 minutes** or until hot (watch carefully to avoid burning).

*You can use 4 sheets of regular foil placed on top of each other instead of heavy-duty foil.

**Thicker ribs may take up to 10 minutes longer.
